Overview

SemIndia Systems was started in 2006 by seasoned Silicon Valley promoters. It acquired the hardware R&D team of Xalted Networks to start a company focused on telecom CPE development. The company began shipping first ADSL2+ products to India’s largest and state owned Telecom carrier BSNL in June 2007 and has since then extended its customers to MTNL, Bharti Airtel and UTStarcom.

SemIndia has shipped over 2.1 million broadband modems and wireless routers in the Indian market and has created a strong Domestic Volume Manufacturing Advantage.

SemIndia Systems has secured Equity Funding to date of US$28M. Flextronics, Empire Capital Partners & Sandalwood Partners are major investors.

The Company is continuously emphasizing on innovation in its products which has helped increase its order book and customer base.
